The silence and the vision of these gentle hills make this environment unique for those looking for the typical lifestyle of the Tuscan countryside, but also an extreme proximity to the major art cities such as Volterra, Florence, Siena where you can immerse yourself in the intense artistic heritage cultural that characterizes us.
Volterra is a village built on a hill and with its double walls, both Etruscan and from the thirteenth-century, it’s a medieval-looking city. Volterra is rich in artistic heritage that can be admired while walking through the streets of the historic center and visiting the city’s museums which include the Etruscan museum, the Pinacoteca, the Museum of Sacred Art or the Eco-museum of Alabaster.
In the heart of the city we find important examples of local medieval architecture such as the “Palazzo dei Priori” built in 1208.
Moreover Volterra is renowned for the Marzuolo Truffle Market Exhibition and for the rustic and genuine cuisine based on local tradition.
