Description

Just 5 kilometers from the famous spa of Saturnia, nestled in the truest Maremma and inserted on the edge of a small village where both residents and second homes are to be found, we offer for sale this delightful apartment built in the 1980s with external access and placed in a small multi-family building.

CASA LE CAPANNE measures about 70 square meters and is located on the 1st and last floor: it is in excellent condition result of constant maintenance and consists of a large living room with fireplace and kitchenette, 2 large bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and window.
The house also has a balcony facing the center of the village and facing south.

Given the proximity to the thermal baths of Saturnia and to unique and exclusive tourist locations such as Pitigliano and Sovana, Casa le Capanne is ideal as a second home and represents an ideal investment of the Tuscan real estate market.

Saturnia, supposedly the oldest town in Italy, has a long and tangled history. The area has been inhabited since the time of the Etruscans, who called it Aurinia; it was the Romans were later renamed it Saturnia. Saturnia stands on the summit of a hill, looking over the famous springs. This unique and bustling Tuscan town stands near the remains of an Etruscan necropolis on the Roman Via Clodia, known also as the Via delle Terme.
The Cascate del Mulino are a series of thunderously impressive waterfalls, where the thermal waters have worn away the rocks into a staircase of little pools. These are free to access and extraordinary good for photos.
Southern Tuscany is truly incredible: far from the bustle of the tourist centres, the countryside is free to present its unique landscapes as it chooses, and life follows a decidedly slower rhythm.
