Immersed in the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside, this charming farmhouse dating back to the 1400s is surrounded by a landscape of rolling hills, vineyards, and olive groves that characterize the beauty of the region.
This farmhouse offers a unique opportunity for those who dream of transforming a piece of history into a prestigious residence or a welcoming hospitality structure.
With its 500 sqm, CASALE LA TORRETTA requires a complete renovation but already boasts a solid structure with refurbished chestnut beam floors and charming vaulted ceilings on the ground floor that preserve the original charm.
Currently, the ground floor houses storage rooms and a service bathroom, while the first floor hosts a living room, a kitchen, five bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The two upper floors each have one bedroom and one bathroom. Following the renovation, the farmhouse can be expanded by converting the ground floor into additional living space.
The farmhouse is surrounded by 12.5 hectares of land, divided into 2.5 hectares of agricultural land and 10 hectares of woodland, ideal for those who wish to live in direct contact with nature or develop an agricultural or tourism project. The green spaces, characterized by pristine beauty, extend all around the property, making it a perfect retreat for those seeking tranquility and privacy.
Access to the house is via a convenient private road, but there is the possibility of opening a second entrance that avoids passing by the surrounding warehouses.
If you are looking for a historic home to renovate and personalize, immersed in the heart of Tuscany, this is the perfect opportunity.
Certaldo is one of the most charming historic villages in Tuscany, known for its magical atmosphere that has earned it the Orange Flag recognition from the Touring Club. With a history rooted in the Etruscan era, Certaldo saw its development flourish during the early Middle Ages, maintaining its past charm. Certaldo is also the birthplace of Giovanni Boccaccio (1313–1375), one of the fathers of the Italian language and literature, famous author of the Decameron. This connection with culture and literature makes the village even more irresistible for lovers of history and tradition. The strategic position of Certaldo allows easy access to the nearby historic center of San Gimignano, an exceptional example of medieval civilization, where art, architecture, and history blend to create an elegant and solemn atmosphere. Finally, the Valdelsa area is crossed by the Via Francigena, which, although not passing directly through the village, comes close in the stages from San Miniato to Gambassi Terme and from Gambassi Terme to San Gimignano, adding further charm to this enchanting corner of Tuscany.
