Rosignano Marittimo is a charming medieval town perched atop a hill overlooking the Tyrrhenian coast. The area is ideal for exploring on foot, with a variety of green trails and paths. One of the true gems of Rosignano is likely the ancient Etruscan village of Castiglioncello, which dominates a small promontory. This internationally renowned tourist destination has a unique charm, especially with its famous Castello Pasquini. For decades, seawatching enthusiasts, divers, and fishermen have gathered along this coastline, alongside those who enjoy sailing and windsurfing. The red cliffs plunging into the sea, sheltered bays, beaches, and coves with crystal-clear waters, along with characteristic beach clubs, make this area an ideal holiday destination.
Food and wine lovers can explore the Strada del Vino delle Colline Pisane, which passes through Rosignano Marittimo. This scenic route offers visits to local wineries, tastings of fine wines, and the opportunity to discover the authentic flavors of Tuscan cuisine.
